Rebelde Way - 2002

Rebelde Way (Rebel's Way) is a Martín Fierro Award—nominated Argentine soap opera created produced by Cris Morena. It originally aired from 26 May 2002 to 18 December 2003. The series was transmitted in many countries worldwide, including Peru, Germany, Israel and Spain, achieving an international success. In addition, numerous remakes of Rebelde Way have been made, most notably Rebelde by Mexican Televisa. In 2009, it was confirmed that the American version of the series would be made, produced by Jennifer Lopez.
Rebelde Way is set in the Elite Way School, a prestigious private boarding high school near Buenos Aires. The students of the school are the members of Argentine wealthiest families, as well as gifted students with scholarships. The series follows the lives of Elite Way students, their parents and their professors, and it also features the regular use of English language and phrases by the upper class. Its central characters are Marizza Pía Spirito, Mía Colucci, Pablo Bustamante and Manuel Aguirre, portrayed by, respectively, Camila Bordonaba, Luisana Lopilato, Benjamín Rojas and Felipe Colombo. The four form a band named Erreway, in order to pursue their dreams. The band enjoyed a great success throughout Latin America, Europe and Israel, selling over 5million records and achieving several Platinum records. Along with spawning a series of merchandising products, the Cris Morena Group also released a spin–off Erreway: 4 Caminos in 2004.Mía Colucci Cacéres is one of the main characters, the member of Erreway, along with her friends Pablo, Manuel and Marizza. She is the only child of famous fashion businessman Franco Colucci and his wife Marina. Mia was told that Marina died when she was just a baby. But, later, she finds out that her mother is alive and that she left Mia and Franco because she did drugs.
Mia is the most popular and beautiful girl in Elite Way School. And because her father is a famous fashion businessman, she has many designer clothes, she is also the only girl (along with her roommates) to have a second floor in her room. This second floor was used as a closet. Her best friends are Vico and Feli, and she pretends to hate Manuel, but she's really in love with him. In the beginning of the first season she and Pablo thought about dating so they can be the popular couple of the school. She is beautiful and mean, but she does not think she is mean. Mia is also brave and light-hearted, but sometimes, only her best friends Vico and Feli can see it. She is a very talented dancer and before Marizza came to the school, she was the only choreographer in the school. She always tries to look good every time, and she does it by never eating sweets or food with high calories, she exercises in her spare time, and always wears new clothes. It was shown in some episodes that she gave some of her dresses to Pilar or Vico because she had already worn it twice. Every year after the summer vacation she does an American fair in which she gives her old clothes away and presents her new project's for the new year in school.
Mia is the enemy of Marizza, but later, they become friends and stepsisters, when Franco gets married to Marizza's mother Sonia. Mia has had relationships with Manuel (boyfriend), Joaquin (ex-boyfriend, who dated her and Marizza at the same time), Guido (ex-boyfriend) and Fran (ex-boyfriend). She is in love with Manuel, but she doesn't want to show it.
When Manuel slept with Sabrina, they broke up. Mia was very hurt, but she was still in love Manuel. When Manuel lost his memory, Mia did everything to get his memory back. He remembered Pablo, Marizza and, unfortunately, Sabrina. Mia was hurt more than ever when she found out that Manuel remembered her too, He soon went to Mexico to see his family.
In the final episode, Manuel returns, begs Mia to forgive him and asks her to be together again, because he truly loves her. Crying, Mia says “yes”, and two of them become couple.

  3. I would like to let you know about this YouTube channel that has some episodes of "Rebelde Way" with English subtitles (although unfortunately a few parts of some episodes are missing): http://www.youtube.com/user/Priscilita22

By the way, I anyone knows, I would like to know where I can get the (original Spanish) transcripts for episodes of "Rebelde Way." If I had the transcripts, I might be able to have someone make more subtitles using them. If anyone can help with that, contact me at" d789allen@gmail.com

  5. It seems that there is no way to get the script for Rebelde Way. But I do want to let everyone know that I uploaded the full episode 1 with English subtitles on my YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CFqIgthPFw) so you have the part which Priscilita22 was missing in there. I also made the SRT subtitles file that I used for it available in other places on the Internet. Also, I found out a while back that there are Greek subtitles as SRT files for episodes 1-69, so whoever wants to can translate those into English to use them on the other episodes.
